I do not want to be 'reaching across the aisle' and find myself gripping the hand of people like Pat Robertson who think that the Constitution states we're a 'Christian nation'.

Separation of church and state means that the state does not promote any one religion, or any religion at all. If, as stated, religious charities are not an alternative to secular efforts or somehow better at lifting people up, why do you want a special division to fund them?

Between this and the FISA bill, I'm regretting even re-registering so I could vote in the primary. It doesn't seem to have done any good.

I really, really, really hate the two-party system.
